Special Announcement About Current Free or Reduced Meal Plans
If you have a student(s) that is currently receiving free or reduced meals within our district, then we want to assure you that even through the ongoing federal government shutdown, your free or reduced meal benefit plan will not be disrupted beyond the upcoming weekend. It will continue as normal on Monday, November 3rd, 2025.
If you are a family that has not received free or reduced meal benefits in the past, but would like to explore how you can apply, then please visit our Free & Reduced Meals page for more information and access to the online application.
You may not realize this, but free or reduced meal applications are accepted at any point during the school year, so please keep that in mind if household financial circumstances change and you would like to submit.
Also included in this message is some important information from our district’s Family Resource Center. It includes a Wilson County Food Pantries 2025-2026
list as a reminder of local organizations who provide community-wide food assistance.
